Accessing the Power of Mind through Nature
When we learn to harness and direct the amazing power of our mind we can become so much more than we presently are. We can rise and soar to new heights of personal expression and endeavour.
There are thousands of techniques available to assist in doing this important task. However one technique that is readily available to most people is tapping into the majesty and power of the natural world.
This week I visited the Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mt Coot-tha – just 3 kms from where I live at the moment. I went there expressly for the purpose of reconnecting with a power far greater than my conscious mind tells me is there.
As I spent several hours absorbing the peace and quiet and beauty of the surroundings I felt myself regaining my inner centredness and focus.
As I gazed at some remarkable trees standing so tall, straight and centred I was reminded of my own innate ability to centre and reconnect with the power of the Earth and thus my own power.
As I breathed the fresh air deeply into my lungs, I felt myself restored energetically and uplifted.
I discovered a palm grove of majestic Alexander Palms – native to north and central Queensland. And another native – the Bunya Pine tree which also produces pine cones and edible nuts – set amidst a small forest.
I have decided to explore these amazing gardens in greater detail.
