Chicken Little is a story for teaching courage
That’s to Ed Dale for reminding us of the story of Chicken Little.
“The Sky Is Falling” also known as “Chicken Little”, “Chicken Licken” or “Henny Penny” is an old, classical fable of unknown origin about a chicken who believes the sky is falling. The phrase has also become used to indicate a hysterical or mistaken belief that disaster is imminent.
Does this sound like the media right now regarding the state of the US economy?

Don’t be a chicken little. Don’t be afraid. The sky is not falling!
Don’t plan for an unwanted future by worrying and becoming fearful as you listen to the media circus on the US economy. The sky is not falling!
It takes a lot more courage to see and expect things to improve than not.
This is precisely a time to start envisioning a positive future. This too will pass – a lot more quickly if it’s not fed globs of mental energy to the contrary.
You get what you think about!
Think about unwanted stuff and bingo it’s on its way to you!
Instead, start imagining things improving – going well. Thinkabout things turning around more quickly than anyone in the media “predicted”.
Be the optimist – not a pessimist. Become the visionary you can be!
Add your energy for positive change by carefully selecting the thoughts you think and hold!
